3FortySeven is a new antique furniture and lighting gallery housed in an Art Deco service station at 347 Warren Street. The space features an eclectic mix of reimagined/repurposed industrial salvage, mid-century and vintage furniture, lighting and art, tribal carpets and textiles, antique jewelry and accessories curated by production designer Angela Howard.

The shop is an extension of the Manhattan-based architecture and interior design practice of Michael Davis, a local home owner for the past 20 years. 3FortySeven offers unique objects for sale in a warm and inviting environment. From April through October, the property also features the popular food stand Tortillaville, and will expand into a music and event venue built around the ambience of our collection. We see the future of Hudson through embracing its past.

Food lovers can graze their way through appetizers, sushi, select teas & desserts, cheeses, ethnic and comfort foods, baked goods, soups and chocolate. “Nearly all of Hudson’s eateries are participating,” states Crill. “It should be a delicious day under the tent. After all who doesn’t like to eat!”

Tickets are sold on location the day of the event. Participants, thus far, include 3FortySeven, American Glory, Baba Louie’s, Bruno’s, Café Le Perche, Ca Mea, Cascades, DA/BA ,Helsinki Hudson, Hudson Cake Company, Italian Market, Olde Hudson, Park Pizza and Falafal, Red Dot, Relish Hudson, Savoia, Tanzy’s ,Taste of the Caribbean, Taste of India, Vasilow’s, Verdigris Tea/ Chocolate Bar, Vico, Wasabi , West Indie Food and Wunderbar.

Welcomes Hudson Music Festival

HADA member 3FortySeven, architect Michael Davis’ showroom and ode to his passion for antiques and architectural salvage, recently became a destination for the sensory enjoyment of food and during Hudson Music Festival! The electic shop will be a destination for several scheduled musical performances, food and libations. For a complete schedule of events please visit www.hudsonmusicfest.com.

3FortySeven has secured a limited liquor license for the weekend of August 9 – 11 to coincide with being a venue for musical performances during Hudson Music Festival, the state’s largest free three-day music festival. When asked the hours which 3FortySeven will be serving visitors, owner Michael Davis replied, “We’ll open at noon and close when we’re tired.”

Musical performances occurring at 3FortySeven during Hudson Music Festival will occur in front of the art deco building facing Warren Street. As well as the Festival’s website, a mobile app is available for iPhone and Android devices which focuses on the schedule for the Hudson Music Festival as well as the many other attractions and destinations in Hudson.

Details to date on food and beverage menu items available at 3FortySeven during Hudson Music Festival include food prepared by Miles Vidor of Hudson Grains and Greens; the already popular and operational food truck offerings and for this special weekend, at least six draft beers from local brewers.

The food and libations served up for this special weekend offer visitors a glimpse of what is in store down the road, when 3FortySeven opens the much-anticipated BackBar this Fall. As the architect and designer of Chef Zak Pelaccio’s recently opened Fish & Game just a few doors from 3FortySeven, Davis is embracing and significantly contributing to the food and design culture in upstate New York.
