Note: As indicated above, the nine blocks of Hudson’s mile-long main street, Warren, are commonly referred to by the range of their street addresses. For example: All shops on Warren falling between 3rd and 4th streets are said to be “in the 300 block,” since their buildings all have numbers between 300-399. Furthermore, buildings with an even street number are on the north side of Warren, while those with odd numbers are on the south side. (Note: Warren runs east to west, downhill toward the Hudson River.) Thus a shop at #602 Warren would be on the north side, whereas #601 would be on the south side.
