Locket Love at Bavier Brook

This locket is so romantic! A beautifully golden heart with an Old Mine cut diamond star set in the center (look at how crisp that lovely star is) on a long 30" gold filled chain, this is a locket worthy of a memento of those dearest to you. This piece harkens back to a more sentimental era, when every image of a loved one was precious and rare. The reverse has not been engraved and is ready for your initials!

This locket is in excellent condition and retains almost all of its original gold-fill. There are minor scratches appropriate for its age. The locket measures 1 1/4"long x 1 1/8" wide, excluding the bail. The original frames are intact and have slight dents, but the glass or celluloid has been lost to time. The Old Mine cut diamond weighs approximately .05ct and is much whiter and brighter than shown. Signed with maker's mark for Wightman and Hough. The chain measures 30" in length and also retains its original gold-fill, though the clasp, which is in great working order, does show wear. Stamped 1/20 12k on spring ring.
